Fearless Fred and I fared very well at Fan Expo the other weekend. We debuted the much anticipated Teuton: Volume Three, the final installment in our medieval epic from Big Sexy Comics. The reaction from fans were phenomenal and we sold out of V.1 & 3 completely by Sunday!

With that said, copies of Teuton V.3 are available for purchase online at the Big Sexy Comic Shop!

There's actually a ton of great stuff at the online store, including all three Teuton books, prints, and original art by Yours Truly.

Recently added to the store are my Superman Unchained and Green Lantern/Silver Surfer prints for just $10 each.

This is the first interview I've actually felt good about after seeing it. Magic was in the air those five minutes, and you can witness it!

Big Sexy Happenings This Week...

Recently I sat down with my friend and creative partner, Fred Kennedy, for another of his podcasts wherein we discuss working on indie comics. Joining me this time at the indie creator roundtable were Gibson Quarter and Ricky Lima. Both great dudes, both well spoken and insightful. It was a good a chat.

If you haven't already checked out these "Fredcasts" you would do well to listen to a few--or all of them. Fred's interviewed many amazing guests, the majority of them comic book superstars, and each of them infinitely more interesting than myself.

That said, you should also totally listen to the one I just did, which you can right here. I have not listened to it however, and I probably won't, because listening to my own voice is torture I don't need at the moment.

In other Fred & Adam related news, this weekend is Toronto ComiCon, and you can bet your booties we'll be there. At table P24 in fact, selling copies of our newly reprinted Teuton: Volume One!

The Big Sexy Comics table: where expectations meet disappointment!

  So that happened.

The past four days were a success for Fred and I on many levels. We are both really happy with how Teuton Vol.2 was received. Half of our stock was sold! My thanks and gratitude goes out to everyone who bought a copy.

There are so very many people who showed me kindness and made me feel super. Tony and Kara Moore were badass and extremely kind neighbours. Bob Layton is fucking hilarious and shared with me his brand of cynical wisdom. Convention nights are made spectacular by the company of Phil McClorey, Brian Evinou, Jeff Brown, Fred.

I'm grateful to Michael Walsh and Ed Brisson for the best stroll down Spadina Avenue in memory; to Marcus To for always making me feel welcome; to Ty Templeton and Keiren Smith for treating me like a peer; to Gibson Quarter for being Gibson-fucking-Quarter; to Kris Johnson for praise I'm working hard to be worthy of...

The list goes on. There are more people to thank and stories to tell, but it's all too much to chronicle here all at once. I'll say that I'm left with a whopping new set of memories. With past conventions I was plagued by regrets. This year my only regret is not being able to spend more time with everyone who made this year uh-mazing.
